Whooop whooop!

FRAMING!!

After a long and tiring day today I decided to ride by our lot for a pick-me-up and this is what I saw.....   :D

Men busy working! From this angle it kinda looks like the second floor isn't tall enough, but that's probably just be due to the angle right? I was so happy to see them there! I took a quick picture and got out of their way. Hopefully the good weather holds out!  :)

  1. Just read your post on my blog!! TOO CUTE! I have not been able to follow your blog because you do not have the followers button on our blog. I have instructions on my blog for you to set it up so you can get more exposure. do not click on the google+followers option. Choose the option that has followers. You probably have to scroll down to the second or third page to find. AND turn off the word verification button to because it makes bloggers decipher this weird word pattern before leaving a comment. Ugghh. Please and thank you.

Your home is really coming along nicely! I love how they put the brick around the foundation. It gives the house so much character.

    1. Thanks for your comment! I have not been able to add the followers gadget for some reason. I think I need google+ but my school email account does not allow that upgrade.:( I have removed the word verification. Let me know if it is still there!

  2. That must be great to finally see some walls going up! Now they just need to get the framing finished so they can get those windows and doors in too. I hope the weather where you are will be nice like here in DC!

  3. Woohoo!! Yes it's definitely the angle that is making your second floor look 3 ft tall! That's funny!!

  4. Yay for progress!
About your fear if the 2nd floor is tall enough..: You will feel the house is getting bigger each day as the rooms get separated and when the drywall is in.. That's how it was for us. My biggest surprise was the kitchen. It looks massive now but I was worried if it was small when there was only framing.
It's same for the outside and suddenly the house expands when the siding and brick is in.

    1. I think you are right. The foundation looked tiny but now that the house is framed it looks a little bigger. I wonder how that visual illusion works? Lol :) Anyway cant wait until dry wall is done. :)
